The 12th Russian mining forum "MINEX Russia 2016", which was held in Moscow in October 4 to 6, announced the results of "The Russian Mining Award" prize. Ametistovoye Mining and Processing Plant by "Gold of Kamchatka" became the winner in "The Mining Project of the Year".

The project was presented at "MINEX Russia 2016" by Viktor Radko, CEO of "Gold of Kamchatka".  In his speech, the company's head explained how the commissioning is ongoing at Ametistovoye.

In 2015, the plant was called one of the best investment projects, one year later entered a new level, and became the winner in "The Mining Project of the Year" category.

'At the end of the first six months, as Ametistovoye plant was commissioned, "Gold of Kamchatka" took the 8th place among Russia's largest companies, and at year-end 2016 Kamchatsky Krai may hit the ten largest gold mining regions of Russia. I'd like to thank the Government of the region and personally Vladimir Ilyukhin, the governor, for the support rendered to our business and social projects', said Viktor Radko, CEO of "Gold of Kamchatka".

Ametistovoye MPP is the biggest enterprise in Kamchatsky Krai.  The plant is able to produce 4 tons of the precious metal per year. The launch of the enterprise in 2015 will possibly double the gold mining in Kamchatka.
